We accept:
~ Bottles of any colours (eg: wine, beer, spirit)
~ Jars (eg: sauces, jams, baby food)
~Non-food bottles (eg: perfume, aftershave, face creams)
Glass bottles, such as wine, spirits and cooking oils often come with aluminium screw tops which can be recycled along with the glass.
You can also leave the lids on your glass jars.
We cannot accept:
x Glass cookware (eg: Pyrex, microwave plates)
x Drinking glasses
x Vases
x Nail varnish bottles
x Mirrors
x Lightbulbs
x Ceramics (eg: crockery, earthenware)
These items will be left with you outside your property and will not be taken for collection.
Glass Girls covers Bracknell Forest - which includes: Bracknell, Binfield, Crowthorne, Warfield, , Winkfield and Sandhurst. We are also happy to collect from other local areas, such as Wokingham.
We ask that you leave your filled 20L Glass Girls container or up to two standard carrier bags of glass outside the front of your property prior to collection. It's as easy as that!
We collect glass on Sundays between 4pm and 8pm and recyle them responsibly at an authorised recycling site.
We also recycle your carrier bags for you too!
Hello everyone! My name is Eloise and I am 7. I did a school project last year on reusing, reducing and recycling and I enjoyed learning about how we can recycle household waste and our own things to help save the planet.
I have always helped Mummy with glass recycling and now I want to help you!
What else can I say about me? I love unicorns, dancing and eating purple mashed potato! I don't really know what I want to do as a job when I am older but I want to do something that helps people.

If you have purchased a container from us then we will return it to you on the same day, cleaned and emptied.
If you have left us carrier bags of glass then we will recycle these for you too, afer they have been emptied.
We require at least 24 hours' notice for a cancellation (before 4pm on Saturday) to be eligible for a refund.
